Hi there, my name is Drew and I’m a UX designer and UI developer. I often get excited to dive headfirst into a problem, learning about all aspects of it and then coming up with solutions. I tend to view the world from a unique perspective, often looking at the status quo and asking why? I want to understand things before I enact them, sometimes the status quo makes sense and sometimes it should be completely thrown out in exchange for a new elegant solution.

Web Creative Manager

2015 - Present
The NPD Group, Port Washington, NY

Maintained the company's 13+ websites coordinating with individuals throughout the company. Served as a point of contact to ensure proposed website changes, as well as layouts and mockups met or exceeded UX best practices. Lead successful website projects end-to-end from initial ideation to design & development. Created wireframes mockups then implemented development processes using HTML, CSS3 and Javascript, all while keeping in line with established brand identities.

  • Refined user journey through the site with a goal of increasing site interactions, increasing leads, and minimizing the amount of clicks it takes to be served the appropriate website content.
  • Used UX researching tools such as heatmaps, mouse tracking, usability tests, and google analytics to develop plans of action and refine major website revisions.
  • Drove Quality Assurance initiatives, developing QA standards policies and procedures for all of NPD’s public websites.
  • Created a series of case study videos which visualized and displayed analytical data for several of the industries NPD tracked.
